What to expect in the PLAY-ALONG BACKING TRACKS
Away in a Manger backing tracks come in pairs. One download is two tracks. You will get one .mp3 track with the melody and the backing, and the other .mp3 track will be just the accompaniment (so you could even do some improvising)!
All of our play-along backing tracks are especially arranged for each instrument. They are based upon the music from our Book of Christmas Carols so you if you have this book, you don’t need to download the sheet music – it will be in the same key!
If you are playing from our Book of Christmas Carols then play through Away in a Manger twice, and watch out for the 3-bar + 2 beats introduction!
What you will hear on this track is a string ensemble with a slinky, moving harp (!) and one or two pings of percussion.
