Really nice layout. Easy to follow.
I like the fact that you can listen to the tunes, to be honest I usually play by ear but haven’t played for a number of years so am brushing up on the specifics. Always nice to have the written music just in case.

I am really enjoying this book along with the recorded tunes. I have never played a recorder before and have found this book a pleasure to follow. Not knowing what it is meant to sound like, the downloadable tracks are hugely beneficial. Very pleased with this purchase.👍

Love this intro to the classics. It’s easy to follow, informative and you really can pick up a recorder and play without any previous knowledge of the instrument or reading music. I would say that it soon passes the ‘beginner’ stage but I’ve been using it alongside children’s recorder starter books (definitely a bonus). The icing on the cake is that you can download all the songs (in acoustic form) which makes the process even easier. Absolutely 5* from me

I love this book. I am a complete beginner, recently retired, and wanted to play but was averse to learning nursery rhymes etc. I cannot read music, but am learning to as I go. The soundtrack helps me to know what I am aiming for, and the fingering diagrams and notes are very easy to follow. The tunes at the end of the book look rather daunting, but who knows …..
