I'm a guy in my mid-40's and I've been playing the flute for nearly a year. I recently bought several of your books including "The Flying Flute Book of Christmas Carols". Your books are so great! I really like that one in particular. For me it's just the right mix of playable and challenging, for not feeling terrible that you can't play something yet for also pushing yourself to get better. I also like the illustrations, haha. Well done!

I've played guitar for many years, but it has been really fun to learn flute as well. The other flute books I have are the usual band method sort of books... Yeah, they get the job done but they also leave a lot to be desired in terms of just being fun. Seems like your books do a much better job of this!

I'm a guy in my mid-40's and I've been playing the flute for nearly a year. I recently bought several of your books including "The Flying Flute Book of Christmas Carols". Your books are so great! I really like that one in particular. For me it's just the right mix of playable and challenging, for not feeling terrible that you can't play something yet for also pushing yourself to get better. Please don't stop making your books. The only books I've ever found for a random assortment of instruments. (We have oboe, mini bassoon, bassoon, bass clarinet, piano and harp and the Xmas band book has all the parts)

By the way, the classical duets were great. We used the toy symphony with the redundant keyboard player using percussion parts from the original - went down very well at a rest home.

Learn Recorder through Famous Classics

Really nice layout. Easy to follow.
