Ragtime Women for Flute and Piano Each book comprises 10 exciting arrangements by the brilliant, pioneering, but almost forgotten women of the ragtime era. Arranged specifically for advancing flute players of around Grade 4-6+ standard, a full piano accompaniment part is included in the book.
What’s inside?
- Playable arrangements. Flute parts are one or two pages long, and are arranged in comfortable keys.
- Range. Notes go up to high G above the stave (A in Book 3), ideal for developing intermediate players.
- Free audio tracks. Hear how each piece goes before you play, then play along with the piano accompaniment. Both tracks can be downloaded from our website, and the book explains how.
- Meet the composers. Each composer has a short, engaging biography, and an information page explains the tempo and expression markings used in the book.
- Flute part. The flute part may be photocopied for performance purposes, or a separate printed flute part is available.
- Information: Includes a glossary of the Musical Terms that are used in the book.
